How employers can support carers There are many benefits for businesses supporting their carer employees Recognising there are carers in your workforce, and supporting them to manage their caring responsibilities and work can bring many benefits to your workplace. There are an estimated seven million carers in the UK, which is one in ten of the population. So, you are very likely to have carers working for you, whether they have told you or not.
