You will be a proactive and compassionate professional, with experience of delivering work in communities, well organised, excellent communication and an excellent influencer. Contract Type: Fixed Term to March 2026 (possible extension). Sheffield Carers Centre is involved in a new and national scheme involving 20+ charities for carers. Fuel poverty occurs when households are unable to afford to keep their homes adequately warm due to high energy costs, low income, and energy-inefficient housing. The Sheffield Carers Centre is actively involved in addressing this issue by providing support and resources to help carers and their families improve energy efficiency, access financial assistance, and reduce their energy bills. Location: Sheffield city centre, with the opportunity of hybrid working, once probation is completed. Annual leave: 24 days plus 3 days between Christmas and New Year (as the office is closed) plus 8 days bank holidays, plus an additional 5 days’ leave following 5 years continuous service. All leave is pro rata for part-time staff. Pension: This is paid in accordance with the scheme rules.
