About Us Who we are Who we are Sheffield Carers Centre is a local independent charity founded in 1994, that is also affiliated to the national Carers Trust charity. We provide a range of high quality services to unpaid adult carers in Sheffield; and are committed to raising the profile of caring and making a difference to carers’ lives. Our team has around 20 full and part-time staff plus 30 volunteers and everyone’s contribution is valued. We work together as a team, as well as working with various other organisations to provide the services that help unpaid carers. Our Mission StatementSheffield Carers Centre is the major independent charity offering support to Sheffield carers. It does this by providing high quality information, advice, advocacy and support. It seeks to reach out to all carers and to ensure that their needs are met.
